I Hired a Trainer!
I did it! I finally took the leap and invested in a personal trainer. It’s only been a month, but I have already encountered a few pros and cons. One con is that the person I hired does not live close to me at all. So, all communication is through email, text, web chats, etc. The reason I chose this particular trainer is one of the pros. A pro is that he provides a meal plan along with the exercises he provides so that what I am eating and the workouts I do are working together to help me reach my goals.
Let me tell you, I was soooo nervous for the online consultation I scheduled with the fitness trainer. There was nothing to be nervous about. He asked me questions about why I wanted to work with a trainer, what’s my motivation/ why I want to lose weight, and what my goal weight is. My original goal weight was 165. I knew I would be comfortable getting down to that weight and I did not want to choose a weight I felt was unrealistic. I also remember weighing 165. I don’t remember weighing less than 165. My trainer was not afraid of challenging me on that number. In the end I told him that I would really like to get down to 130 lbs. As a result of the meeting I needed to modify my vision board.
I am so glad that I decided to work with a trainer and I can not wait to reach my goals, see and show off my body when I reach my goal weight, and shop for some new clothes!
